New breakthrough service for Irish Exporters.

Welcomed as a "breakthrough service" by the Irish Exporters Association and Enterprise Ireland, Fyffes Atlantic Shipping officially launched its Ireland/Halifax route in June 2007.

 

Fyffes Atlantic Shipping Ltd, a subsidiary of Fyffes PLC, is based in Dundalk Co Louth and was set-up with the aim of helping Irish exporters to regain their competitive advantage internationally.

 

Building on a solid strategic alliance with Dutch shipping company, Europe West Indies Lines, Fyffes Atlantic Shipping now offers scheduled weekly sailings from Ireland, linking Irish exporters with new markets in Canada, the Caribbean, South America (Northern route) and Central America.

Cool Chain Service
With a modern fleet of vessels and 4,500 temperature-controlled containers, your exports will be 'cool-chained' across the Atlantic, to the international marketplace.

Weekly Departures from Ireland
There are scheduled weekly departures from Ireland to Halifax and unlike trans-shipment services, once your exports are loaded in Ireland, they'll remain on board until the vessel arrives at the port of destination.
